D’emerald – Finger Lime – Citrus Gems
Posted on November 28, 2014
D’emerald produces long, slender, almost black coloured finger limes, the citrus pearls within, sparkling emerald green, tangy, juicy and very easy to extract. Cropping predominately in the autumn, D’emerald will continue to fruit through the year. A dense growing shrub D’emerald will reach an eventual height of 2 metres and is ideal for creating hedges. D’emerald performs best in full sun in a warm protected location. Use the citrus pearls in creamy sauces, as a garnish for seafood and shellfish.
