Citrus generally, are now holding tiny fruit. Summer is the perfect time to give your Citrus trees a light and luscious feed to assist them to flourish. Provide them with a good liquid blood and bone, seaweed or fish emulsion, or a delicious combination of all three. Water in. This treatment is ideal for potted citrus.
Summer warmth also hatches out some little gribbley monsters (this is not a technical term) that enjoy our Citrus, such as leaf miner and scale. A spray now, with some pest oil and again in January, will keep your citrus clean and insect free. Pest oil is safe to use and safe for the environment.
